Natalia (Nellie) Salazar, age 80, born in Gallup, NM and a resident of Albuquerque, passed away Monday, May 16, 2016 at home surrounded by her family. Mrs. Salazar is survived by her children, Arthur E. Salazar Jr., Richard J Salazar and wife, Grace, and Loretta M. Janzen and husband, Daniel Sr.; grandchildren, Jimmy, Jessie, Cathy, Melinda, Vanessa, Jessica, Richard Jr., Veronica, Yolanda, Daniel Jr., Cristina, and Alicia; twenty-nine great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; sister, Amelia Romero; brothers, Andy Madrid and wife, Lola, and Jimmy Madrid and wife, Frances; several brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mrs. Salazar was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Salazar Sr. Visitation will be Friday, May, 20, 2016 from 7:45 a.m. until 8:15 a.m. at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 5415 Fortuna Rd. NW with a Rosary to be recited at 8:15 a.m. ; Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. Private disposition will take place at a later date.
