Ned R. Smith Jr., born in Donora, PA and a resident of Albuquerque, passed away Friday, February 19, 2016 at home with his family at his side. Mr. Smith is survived by his beloved wife, Helen; brothers, Mark Smith and wife, Isabel, and Jeff Smith and wife, Janet; step-children, Joyce Jones and husband, Mike, and Michael Sarkis and wife, Karen;  and five step-grandchildren.  Mr. Smith was preceded in death by his sister, Jane.  A Tribute Service will be Wednesday, February 24, 2016 in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel at 1:00 p.m.  In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the USO Department WS, P.O. Box 96860, Washington, DC 20090-6860. The family would like to thank Harmony Health Care and Hospice for their kindness.
