Paul Montoya

Paul Montoya, age 60, born in Las Vegas, New Mexico and resident of Albuquerque, passed away Monday, March 9, 2020.  Mr. Montoya was survived by his beloved wife, Sylvia Montoya; children, Juliana Nuanes and husband, Beau, Eric Rey and girlfriend, Ambra Perez, Nicole Lopez and husband, Lawrence, Jessica Montoya and partner, Brittney Marincovich; siblings, Arturo Martinez, Kenny Martinez, Brenda Sanchez, Phillip Tafoya and Denise Tafoya; step-father, Guadalupe Tafoya; and nineteen grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Julie Tafoya.

A visitation will be Thursday, March 12, 2020 from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Gabaldon Mortuary, 1000 Old Coors Dr. SW with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m.  A final visitation will be Friday, March 13, 2020 from 9:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at Cas del Rey Church, 2500 Corona Dr. NW, with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m.  Interment will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Eric Rey, Beau Nuanes, Lawrence Lopez, Kenny Martinez, Keith Martinez, Freddie Trujillo.  Honorary Pallbearers will be Max Quintana, Joe Lueras, Thomas Rivera, Kenneth Martinez and Leonard Lopez.
