Pete Maestas

Pete Maestas, age 73, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away on November 18, 2024. Pete is survived by his two children, daughter, Bridget Gutierrez and husband, Gilbert Jr. and son, Vincent Robert Maestas and wife, Michelle; grandchildren, Arianna Gutierrez, Andres Gutierrez, and Jordan Maestas; sister, Molly Chavez, and husband Joe Ray, brothers, Dennis (Danny) Maestas, and Joey Maestas; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Rose Maestas, father, Felipe Maestas, sister, Rita Herrera, brother in-law, Carlos (Charlie) Herrera and nephew, Joe Ray Chavez Jr., Visitation will be held in The Gabaldon Memorial Chapel 1000 Old Coors Dr. SW on Monday, December 9, 2024, at 5:30 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 6:00 p.m. by Marilyn Gonzales and Lucille Gutierrez. Final visitation will be at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, at Holy Family Catholic Church 562 Atrisco Dr. SW. with Mass of The Resurrection to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow the Mass at San Jose de Armijo Cemetery 2957 Arenal Rd SW. Honorary Pallbearers will be Vincent Maestas, Gilbert Gutierrez Jr., Andres Gutierrez, Jordan Maestas, Danny Maestas, Joe Ray Chavez, Pat Gabaldon, Gilbert Gutierrez Sr. and Julian Marquez.
