Petra Cordova

Petra Cordova (Peggy Baca), age 65, born in Hatch, New Mexico and a resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away on February 19, 2022. Petra is survived by her husband of twenty-eight years, Chris Cordova; children, Valerie Montoya, Juan Baca and wife, Carmen, Rebecca Baca, and Eddie Baca; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; siblings Bobby Bernal and wife, Rebecca, Lucy Sanchez and husband, Leroy, Manuel Gonzales Jr., and Danny Gonzales and wife Luci; many nieces, nephews, and extended family members. Petra was preceded in death by her brother, Tony Gonzales, sister, Dolores Trevizo, father, Manuel M. Gonzales, and mother, Helen Gonzales. Services for Petra will be held at San Ignacio Catholic Church 1300 Walter SE. with burial to follow services at San Jose de Armijo Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Juan Baca, Eddie Baca, Chris Cordova, Leroy Sanchez Jr., Eddie Baca Jr., and Bob Vigil.  The Family will be having a Private Viewing  Saturday morning. A Public Viewing will be held Saturday, March 5, 2022 at 8:30am, A Rosary will be recited at 9:00am with a Mass to follow at 9:30am all to be held at  at San Ignacio Church located at 1300 Walter St NE, Albuquerque, NM 87102. Interment to follow after mass to San Jose de Armijo cemetery located at 2957 Arenal Rd SW, Albuquerque, NM 87121.
