Our beloved mother Prescilla Padilla, age 53, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, June 4th, after a prolonged battle with cancer. She was born in 1963 to Leroy and Caroline Montoya in Albuquerque, NM. She grew up in Albuquerque graduating from Cibola High School in 1981. She later moved and made her home in Los Lunas, NM where she raised her daughters Victoria and Olivia Padilla. Prescilla is a retired letter carrier and maintenance mechanic from the United States Post Office where she dedicated over twenty-eight years of service. In her life she took great pride in her yard, loved her dogs and traveling to see the National Parks. She is preceded in death by her son Adam Padilla and grandson Abraham Nolasco-Padilla. She is survived by her daughters, Victoria and Olivia Padilla; parents, Leroy and Caroline Montoya; brothers, Damacio and Daniel Montoya; and sister, Elizabeth Montoya. Visitation will be Monday, June 12, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. at San Clemente Catholic Church, 244 Luna Ave SE, Los Lunas, NM 87031, with a Rosary at 9:30 a.m.; Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery.
