Rachel Lujan

Rachel J. Lujan (Marquez), age 84, lifelong resident of Albuquerque, passed away Tuesday, October 16, 2018.  Mrs. Lujan is survived by her children, Julia Rodriguez and husband, Gerald, Julian Lujan and wife, Anna, David Lujan and wife, Maryann, Rosario Romero and husband, Bobby; daughter-in-law, Ruth Lujan; sister, Rosario Chavez and husband, Ray; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.   Mrs. Lujan was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Floren Lujan; son, Floren Lujan Jr. and her parents, Julian and Julia Marquez as well as her brothers and sisters.   Rachel had many hobbies which included painting, restoring furnishings, antique dolls and collecting coins.  She was a very loving, generous and respectful woman; especially towards her family.  Rachel has gone home to find peace and comfort with our Lord Jesus.

A visitation will be held Thursday, October 25, 2018 from 10:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at San Martin de Porres Catholic Church, 8321 Camino San Martin SW, with a Rosary to be recited at 11:00 a.m, Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m.  Interment will follow services at Mount Calvary Cemetery.
