Ramana Zambrano

Ramana Melissa Lavon Zambrano, age 40, lifelong resident of Los Lunas, passed away Monday, January 21, 2019.  Ramana is survived by her children, Ernest Estrada, Vanessa Thomas and Donald Thomas; parents, Rose Marie and Benjamine Zambrano; grandmother, Carmen Zambrano; sisters, Victoria Strahl & George Fresquez; Raquel & Todd LeCesne; Katherine &  Sean O’Connell; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.

Melissa was a dedicated mother first and foremost and treasured her children. She had a vivacious personality and always made people around her laugh. Her smile was infectious and made friends everywhere she went. For all of us who knew and loved Melissa, her life was a blessing. She is loved beyond words and will be missed beyond measure. She will remain forever in our hearts.

Family, friends and others whose lives Melissa touched are invited to a visitation on Thursday, January 31, 2019 from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Gabaldon Mortuary, 1000 Old Coors Dr. SW, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m.  Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday, February 1, 2019 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Jude of Thaddeus Catholic Church, 5712 Paradise Blvd. NW. A reception will immediately follow at the Loyal Order of Moose at 2121 Edith Boulevard NE. Committal service at Sunset Memorial Park will be at 2:00 pm.
