Randy Otero

d. October 18, 2015Randy S. Otero, age 34, was born March 21, 1981in Albuquerque, NM and passed away Sunday, October 18, 2015. Randy was a beloved and devoted son, brother, uncle, and friend. Randy is survived by his father, Pete Otero; sister, Patricia Lucero and husband, Abel; brother, Fred Otero; nieces, Miranda Lucero, and Christi Lucero; aunts, Lola Otero, Macedonia Lesperance, Grace Wanger and husband, Bill; many cousins and friends.  Randy was preceded in death by his mother, Geronima Otero;  uncle, Sonny (Alex) Otero; grandparents, Alex Sr. and Romanita Otero, and Erineo and Deluvina Martinez.  Randy was a graduate of Highland High School, Class of 1999 where he was on the wrestling team.  He worked at the Downs of Albuquerque Racetrack and prior he worked for the City of Albuquerque, Park and Recreation Department.  Randy enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing with his dogs, Billy and Lola but loved spending time with family and friends.  He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.  Visitation will be Wednesday, October 21, 2015 from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Holy Ghost Catholic Church, 833 Arizona SE with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. by the Altar Rosary Society.  Final visitation will be Thursday, October 22, 2015 from 9:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at the Church with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. , Father Mark Schultz, presider.  Interment will follow at the San Acacia Cemetery, San Acacia, NM.  Pallbearers  will be Chris Hill, Tom Cordova, Paul Coverdale, Angel Cortez, Bobby Hinojos, and Chris Gallegos. To sign Randy's guest book, please scroll down and fill out the comment box.Thank you,The Gabaldon Family & Staff
