Raymond Martinez

Raymond Albert Martinez, age 66, lifelong resident of Albuquerque, passed away Tuesday, October 8, 2019.  Mr. Martinez is survived by his beloved wife, Helen Martinez; siblings, Nancy Gallegos, Diana Armijo, Irene Maldonado, Barbara Gutierrez, Stanley Martinez, Joseph Martinez, David Martinez, Daniel Martinez and Lupita Martinez; several nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends as well as his fur babies, Tiggie “Stinky” and Whitesocks, “Baby”.   He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Lucy Martinez; parent-in-laws, Paul and Frances Griego; twin sons, Pablo and Pedro Martinez; sister, Mary Louise Martinez and brother, Anthony Martinez.

Mr. Martinez was a volunteer firefighter with the Bernalillo County Fire Department #3, a BCFMO dispatcher and a security officer with Isleta Casino and Resort.

A visitation will be Wednesday, October 23, 2019 from 5:30 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Saint Therese of the Infant Jesus Catholic Church, 3424 Fourth Street NW, with a Rosary to be recited at 6:00 p.m.; a final visitation will be Thursday, October 24, 2019 from 9: 30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m.  Interment will follow services at Mount Calvary Cemetery.
