Raymundo J. Apodaca Sr., age 64,  born in Encino, NM and a resident of Albuquerque, passed away Sunday, October 30, 2016. Mr. Apodaca is survived by his wife of thirty seven years, Bertha; his mother, Mrs. Hilaria Apodaca; son, Raymundo Apodaca Jr. and wife, Stacy; grandson, Brent Apodaca; granddaughter, Katie Rae Apodaca; siblings, Erma Amorella and husband, Jack, Ruby Sena and husband, Floyd, Jimmy Apodaca, and wife, Lisa, Gloria Martinez and husband, Marcos, Katrina Lopez and husband, Cruz; several brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Mr. Apodaca was preceded by his father, Santiago (Happy) Apodaca; father in law and mother in law, Cresencio and Frances Moya; and his beloved niece, Deputy Angelic Garica. Visitation will be Thursday, November 03, 2016 from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel, 1000 Old Coors Drive S.W. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00p.m. Final visitation will be Friday, November 04, 2016 at St. Joseph on the Rio Grande Catholic Church 5901 St. Joseph Dr. NW from 8:30 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial will be at 9:00 am. Interment will follow at  Mt. Calvary Cemetery,1900 Edith Blvd. NE. Pallbearers will be Jesse Castillo, Cruz Lopez, Curtis Sanchez, Bobby Marez, Guillermo Marez, and Mark Martinez. Honorary pallbearer will be Tony Juarez.
