Refugio "Teno" Ortiz

Refugio “Teno” Ortiz, age 81, born in Chaperito, New Mexico and a resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away on September 17, 2024. Mr. Ortiz is survived by his children, daughter, Jennifer Ortiz and husband, Donovan, and son, Juan Ortiz and wife, Amber: grandchildren, Emily Ortiz, Johnathan Ortiz, Ethan Ortiz, Aliyah Ortiz, and Suriah Ortiz; siblings, Julia Cruz, and Rhoda Suazo; several nieces, nephews, and extended family members. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jinnie Sue Ortiz. Mr. Ortiz served his country proudly in the United States Army. Visitation for Teno will be held on October 18, at 8:00 AM, at Holy Family Catholic Church (562 Atrisco Dr. SW Albuquerque, NM 87105) Rosary will be recited at 8:30 AM, with a funeral mass to follow. After mass, the family, would like to welcome everyone to join them for light refreshments to celebrate the life of this amazing man.
