Richard Alderete

Richard P. Alderete (Papa), age 62, resident of Albuquerque, passed away Sunday, September 24, 2017 with his family by his side. Mr. Alderete is survived by his beloved wife, Dolores; children, Rachel Alderete and, Joe Armstrong, Ruben Alderete and, Alicia Castillo, Misty Salazar and husband, Matthew; father, Vincente Alderete Jr.; brothers, Alfred Alderete and Robert Alderte; grandchildren, Joseph, Raeann, Omar, Soni, Richard Elias, Michael, Malaya and one on the way (Wisdom); great-grandson, Diesel; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephew, cousins and friends.  Mr. Alderete was preceded in death by his mother, Virginia J. Alderete; brother, Arthur; and son, Richard Jr. Visitation will be Wednesday, September 27, 2017 from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Church of the Ascension, 2150 Raymac Rd. S/W; with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m.  Final visitation will be Thursday, September 28, 2017 from 9:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at Church of the Ascension, with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m.  Interment to follow at Pajarito Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be, Ruben Alderete, Joseph Alderete, Richard Elias Alderete, Michael Aragon, James Sanchez and Art Campos.
