Ricky Espalin

Ricky J. Espalin, age 63, lifelong resident of Albuquerque, passed away Thursday, September 20, 2018. Mr. Espalin is survived by his beloved wife, Jeanne Espalin; children, Steven Espalin, Rick Espalin and significant other, Joy and Zeke Espalin and significant other, Victoria Padilla; grandchildren, Desiree Gonzalez and husband, Christopher, Richard Espalin, Brandon Espalin, Dean Raquel, Zeke Espalin and Nadia Espalin; great-grandchildren, Ezekiah Espalin and Malikai Espalin; as well as many nieces and nephews, brothers and sisters-in-law.  Ricky loved his dogs and his sports, especially live games and the outdoors, fishing camping and attending concerts.  He loved his family and friends very much.  A visitation will be held Tuesday, September 25, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. at Gabaldon Mortuary, 1000 Old Coors Dr. SW, with a Rosary to be recited at 6:30 p.m.; a final visitation will be held Wednesday, September 26, 2018 from 8:30 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church,  562 Atrisco Dr. with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 9:00 a.m.  Interment will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers will be Desiree, Richard, Brandon, Dean, Raquel, Zeke Jr., Nadia, Ezekiah and Malika.
