Rita Telles

Rita Telles, born in Cubero, New Mexico and resident of Albuquerque, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 5, 2020.  Mrs. Telles is survived by  her Four children, Thomas Telles and wife, Adela, Mary Dodge and partner, Joe Montano, Toby Telles and  wife, Catherine, Marsha Sanchez and husband, Rudy; Eight grandchildren; Nineteen great-grandchildren; Two great-great grandchildren; Brother, Benjamin Jaramillo and wife, Eucenia; Sister-in law, Joan Romero and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mrs. Telles is pre-ceded in death by her husband, Richard E. Telles; Granddaughter, Tanya Giron; Great-grandson, Isaiah N. Telles.  Rita was a retired Registered Nurse from Presbyterian Hospital and was a member of the Legion of Mary.  Visitation will be held in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel 3:00p.m. on Monday, May 11, 2020, 1000 Old Coors dr. S.W.  A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, May 13, 2020 at Holy Family Catholic Church at 9:00 a.m. 562 Atrisco Dr. S.W.  Burial will follow to Mount Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jesus Telles, Richard Telles, Brian Dodge, Justin Montano, Toby Telles, Noah Sanchez.

Gabaldon Mortuary and staff will be adhering to the mandated CDC guidelines of no more than five people gathered at a time.   Guest are asked to remain in the parking lot until a director leads you into the building, five people at a time.

PLEASE TAKE PROPER PRECAUTIONS WHEN CHOOSING TO ATTEND ANY SERVICES. If you are sick in any way please avoid attending any social gatherings.  Please wash hands thoroughly and avoid contact via hand shaking and hugging when possible.
