Rita Louise Watson, age 94, born July 12, 1921 in San Ysidro, NM and a resident of Albuquerque passed away Monday, August 31, 2015 at home with her family at her side. Mrs. Watson is survived by her children, Loretta L. Angel, Patricia A. Morris and husband, Wentworth, and Robert E. Angel and wife, Soroush; her sister, Bernadette Garcia; brother, Napoleon (Nappy) Garcia and wife, Estella; niece, Olga Santillanes; nephew, Edward C. Sandoval; grandsons, Joshua Lucero, Carl Saks, Kenneth Saks, Jaydon Morris, Jordan Morris; granddaughter, Adrienne Rivera; along with eight great grandchildren, and four great great grandchildren. Rita was preceded in death by her husband W.E. (Bill) Watson. She was a graduate of Loretto Academy in Santa Fe, New Mexico and attended Highlands University. She worked for Stanley Home Products in sales for many years and then moved on to become a realtor and sold homes for Gene Corley with Corley homes all around the Albuquerque area. Rita was a true entrepreneur and with her husband, Bill Watson, they went on to endeavor into many different business opportunities. She was a true business woman. Rita was a long standing member of Immaculate Conception Church. Visitation will be Friday, September 04, 2015 from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m.   Final visitation will be Saturday, September 05, 2015 from 9:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 619 Copper Ave. NW with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers will be Bernadette Garcia and Napoleon Garcia. Pallbearers will be Carl Saks, Kenneth Saks, Joshua Lucero, Edward Sandoval, Olga Santillanes and Tess Malone.
