Rosa Chavez

d. December 13, 2015 Rosa S. Chavez, age 86, born in Santa Rita, NM and a resident of Albuquerque, passed away December 13, 2015. Mrs. Chavez is survived by her children, Dolores Chavez de Daigle and husband, Don, Veronica Chavez-Soto and husband, Eduardo, Elizabeth Chavez-Garcia; grandchildren, Marian Daigle, Lucien Daigle and wife, Ashley, Victoria Soto, Nicolas Soto and wife, Katy, Enrique Chavez, Tiana Chavez and husband, Jerome, and Alyxandria Garcia; great-grandchildren, Lilyanna, Sofia, Scarlette, Damian and his mother, Ashley, and Aiden; very special sister-in-law, Betty Silva; very special cousin, Rose Carrillo; and numerous relatives, friends, and "adopted grandchildren" of Holy Ghost Catholic School and Staff.  Rosa enjoyed spending time with her family, sharing her special home cooked meals with others, and spoiling her grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.  She will be greatly missed! Visitation will be Wednesday, December 16, 2015 from 7:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. at Holy Ghost Catholic Church, 927 Arizona St. SE with a Rosary to be recited at 7:30 p.m.by Mary Ann Baca.   Final visitation will be Thursday, December 17, 2015 at the Church from 9:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial to  be celebrated at10:00 a.m., Father Sean Garrity, presider. A Committal Services is scheduled for the Santa Fe National Cemetery Thursday, December 17, 2015 at 2:15 p.m.  Pallbearers will be Marian Daigle, Victoria Soto, Enrique Chavez, Nicolas Soto, Lucien Daigle, and Tiana Chavez.  Honorary pallbearer will be Alyxandria Garcia. The Family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made to: Holy Ghost Catholic School in the name of Rosa S.
