Rose Evangeline Aguirre, age 81, our beautiful mother was called to Heaven, Friday, October 21, 2016 surrounded by the love of her family.  She was born January 03, 1935 in Raton, New Mexico and was a resident of Albuquerque. Mother was preceded in death by her husband of fifty years, Edmund; parents, Tony Trujillo  and Adela Martinez; sisters, Clorinda Arias, Luby Gurule; grandson, Lawrence Charles Vargas.  She is survived by her children, Terry and Lawrence Vargas, Martha and Louie Montoya, Edmund Jr. and Fita Aguirre, Ruben and Theresa Aguirre; fourteen grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and many other extended family members. Our mother was a loving, giving, caring woman who instilled within us a strong work ethic, an unwavering faith in God and the importance of family.  In her youth, she met the love of her life, our father, Edmund Aguirre.  As a military wife and mother, she kept our worlds together while Dad was fulfilling military duties abroad, and she made it look so easy.  She worked as the Supervisor of Dietary at St. Joseph's Hospital, a special education bus assistant for A.P. S. and daycare provider in her home.  She was most devoted to her role as a loving mother and grandmother.  She was happiest when she was in the midst of her family and she loved gathering and celebrations.  Her children and grandchildren were her pride and joy.  How she loved cooking, always making sure that no one left her home hungry.  Mom also enjoyed sewing, reading, and watching movies.  Our mamacita blessed us and all who knew her with her compassion, her wit, her strength and her love, always her love. We feel blessed to have called her our mother.  Her legacy of love lives on...LOVE NEVER ENDS.  Visitation will be Tuesday, October 25, 2016 from 9:45 a.m. until 10:15 a.m. at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 5415 Fortuna Rd NW with a Rosary to be recited at 10:15 a.m.; Mass of Christian Burial will be at celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Mt.
