Rose G. Baca, age 97, born in La Joya, NM, and a resident of Albuquerque, passed away Tuesday, June 23, 2015 surrounded by her family. Mrs. Baca  is survived by sons, Willie and Le Roy Baca; sister Dulcinea Carrillo; brothers, Benjamin and wife, Angelina, and George Garcia; son in law, Charles "Chuck" vonHentschel; grandchildren, Ginger Gomez and husband Tom, Erika O'Leary and husband, Kevin, Rebecca vonHentschel, Annette Shaw, Charles vonHentschel Jr. and wife, Cindy, Nathaniel Baca and wife, Annette; many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.  Mrs. Baca was preceded in death by her parents, Jose Maria and Leonore (Baca) Garcia; husband, Willie B. Baca; son, Jose Rafael Baca; daughter, Doris Joyce vonHentschel; sisters, Cruzita Miera, Rita Griego; brother, Jose Garcia; grandson, Alan Smith. Visitation will be Monday, June 29, 2015 from 11:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. with a Rosary to be recited at11:30 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church 562 Atrisco Dr. S.W. Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 12:00 p.m. at  Holy Family Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Kristian Gomez, Adrian Gomez, Ryan vonHentschel, Austin vonHentschel, Nathanial Baca, Alan Smith. Honorary pallbearers will be Lemuel vonHentschel, Scott Shaw, Hunter Greenleaf, Isaiah Baca. The family wishes to thank the staff at Presbyterian Hospice, Lynn, Diane, Regina, Dottie, Darlene, and Dr. Ligon for demonstrating genuine, personal, pleasant and caring concern for her well being.
