Senaida Romero

Senaida Romero has gone to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ at the age of 77 years old on November 7, 2020. “777” in the Bible means, completion and perfection. Senaida was a wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who lived an unselfish life, devoted to her family.  Senaida is survived by her husband of twenty-five years, Tom Charley; sons; Gerald Romero and wife, Paula, Brian Romero; sisters, Clara Galloway, Irene Blea and husband John, Donna Marsico and husband Steve,; brothers, Pulley Herrera, Christy Herrera and wife, Arlene, Fred Herrera and wife, Yolando; two grandchildren,  Derik Romero, Alexandra OrneIas and husband, Manny; great-grandchildren, Jaden Romero, Destiny Romero, Sabrina Ornelas, Elliana Ornelas, Thaddeus Ornelas; several step-children; step-great-grandchildren; step great-great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was an unstoppable force with her work, and love for people; which is why she worked in retail all her life and finally at Walmart for over fifteen years.   Senaida was a true believer in Jesus Christ and showed it by her words and actions throughout her life.  Our mom attended VLF- Legacy Church for forty years.  She served at the bookstore and was a welcoming host for home Bible studies for many years.  She was a lifelong tither at church and spent her life telling people about Jesus while bringing her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren to church.  Mom, you will be missed, and we will continue your legacy with courage and without fear.  We will walk in Faith, Hope and Love, in Jesus name.   A Celebration of Life Service will be at 10:00a.m. Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at Legacy Church 4701 Wyoming Blvd NE. Interment will follow services at Mt. Calvary Cemetery 1900 Edith Blvd NE.  Pallbearers will be Christy Herrera, Fred Herrera, Steve Marsico, Manny Ornelas, Tony Salinas, Ron Padilla. Honorary Pallbearers will be Derik Romero and Tommy Charley.
