Sharon Gaddy

Sharon Gaddy, age 59, born in Crownpoint, New Mexico and a resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico passed away on November 17, 2021. Sharon is survived by her children, Teaya Larry and spouse Aaron, and Sean Cantrell and spouse Collette; partner Muhammad Khan; siblings, Julia V. James, Marilyn Jake, Yolinda James, Ronald James; Richard Martinez, Rick, Calvin James and wife, Carolyn, Barbara Gutierrez and husband, Daniel, Devonna James, Ricky James and wife, Tiera; sisters in-law SueAnn James and Elvira James; many nieces, nephews, and grandchildren. She was honorary mother to Sergei and Christina Stone, and Marcos and Kedra Gomez. She was preceded in death by her adopted father, Dan Gaddy; adopted mother, Ruth Gaddy; brother Ernest Gaddy; sister Delta Skeet; father, Lee James, brothers, Benny James, and Timothy James; brother in- law, Sammie Jake. Visitation will be on Saturday, December 4, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel 1000 Old Coors Dr. SW.

Our Sharon enjoyed cooking on the grill and being outdoors, especially picnics, hiking and taking long road trips with enjoyment of the scenery with her partner Mo. Sharon really valued the enjoyment of being with her beloved children, family and friends. Sharon always loved making everyone laugh with her teasing and wonderful stories, so many priceless times she gave to our family. We will always remember Sharon’s smile, whole hearted good advice and always taking care of her children, family and friends. We will dearly miss Sharon as a loving daughter, mom, partner, sister, auntie, being Momma Shar and always a good friend. A memorial service will be conducted by Calvary Church located at 4001 Osuna Road N.E., Albuquerque on Thursday, December 9, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. Thereafter, a reception will follow in the PLEX right after the memorial service to celebrate Sharon’s life. During this time the family would love to hear your stories and fond memories of Sharon. Our family truly expresses their extreme gratitude for your condolences and prayers. We also are so very thankful to Gabaldon Mortuary and Calvary Church for our beloved Sharon’s final arrangements.
