Shaun G. Martinez, age 40, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away at home with his loving family at his side, Thursday, April 30, 2015.  Shaun is survived by his parents, Gilbert and Gerry Martinez; sister, Melissa Gonzales and husband, Ralph; grandmother, Susie Martinez; niece, Nicole Gonzales; nephew, Nathaniel Gonzales; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.  Shaun was preceded in death by his grandmother, Beatrice Bucklin; great-grandmother, Margaret Sena; grandfather, Phillip Martinez; great-grandfather, Mike Bucklin.  Shaun was a member of the Catholic Church, a graduate of West Mesa High School, Class of 1992.  Shaun attended UNM, The Art Institute and worked at several retail stores in the Albuquerque Area and was recently working at A.P.S. Technology Desk.  He loved to garden and listen to his favorite music.  Visitation will be Sunday, May 03, 2015 at Santuario de San Martin de Porres Catholic Church, 8301 Camino San Martin SW from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. by Rosie Andrade.  Final visitation will be Monday, May 04, 2015 at the Church from 12:30 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 1:00 p.m.  Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Ralph Gonzales, Nathaniel Gonzales, Gabriel Gonzales, Alonzo Baca, Freddy Martinez, and Jim See.  Honorary pallbearers will be Karen Padilla, Maggie Morrow, Sylvia See, Amalia Pacheco, and Rick Morrow.
