Susie G. Lopez, age 80, resident of Albuquerque, passed away Sunday, May 29, 2016, at home with her family by her side. Mrs. Lopez is survived by her nieces and nephews whom she considered her children, Clarence Montoya, Mary Louise Garcia and husband, Ruben, Paul Edward Montoya and wife, Angela, Patricia Montoya, Debra Abeyta, Brenda Montoya; sisters, Melly Hernandez, Theresa Sinsun and husband, Tony, Christine Valencia and husband, Eddie; numerous nieces and nephews from California. Mrs. Lopez was known as Grandma Susie to David Abeyta Jr. Christopher Montoya, Matthew Abeyta, Joshua Garcia, Julianna Montoya, Antoinette Montoya, Jennifer Garcia, Dorinda Abeyta. Visitation will be Friday, June 03, 2016 from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at St. Anne Catholic Church, 1400 Arenal Road S.W. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Final visitation will be Saturday, June 04, 2016 from 8:30 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at St. Anne Church at 9:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be David Abeyta Jr., Christopher Montoya, Matthew Abeyta, Joshua Garcia, and Jeremy Paulos. Honorary pallbearers will be Eddie Valencia, and Ruben Garcia.
