Thomas J. Martinez, age 51, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away Monday, August 15, 2016. Thomas is survived by his son, Dereck Martinez, mother, Mary Martinez, sister Monica Mondragon and husband, James, brother, John Martinez and wife, Michelle; nieces/nephews, Jamie, and Jarred Mondragon, and Diego, and Mateo Martinez; friend, Connie Butler; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.   He was preceded in death by his father, Florenio C. Martinez.  Thomas was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving during Desert Storm.  Visitation will be Friday, August 19, 2016 from 9:45 a.m. until 10:15 a.m. at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 5415 Fortuna Rd. SW with a Rosary to be recited at 10:15 a.m. ; Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11: 00 a.m.   Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Jamie Mondragon, Jarred Mondragon, James Mondragon, John Martinez, Lee Romero, and Sid LaJeunesse.  Honorary pallbearers will be Diego Martinez, and Mateo Martinez.
