Verna Zimmerman

Verna Clorinda Garcia Zimmerman, 47, a resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away on January 13, 2019. She was born to Ramon and Vera Valencia Garcia. She grew up in the south valley alongside her brothers, Anthony and Raymond Garcia. She attended West Mesa High School where she met her first husband, Andrew Zimmerman. Together they had two sons, Christopher and Aaron Zimmerman. Later in her short time on this earth she met and exchanged vows to her husband, Carlos Lopez. She will forever be a loving mother, daughter, sister, wife, aunty, and nana.

Verna is survived by her son Christopher and his wife Tiffany; her son Aaron and his wife Shannon; her granddaughter Olive; her husband Carlos Lopez; her brother Raymond and his wife Bertha; her sister-in-law Debbie; her sister-in-law Rebecca Bulling and her husband Jason; her in-laws John and Regina Zimmerman; her ex-husband Andrew Zimmerman; her niece Natasha Chavez, her husband Adrian, and their children Penelope and Miles; her niece Geneva Harrison, her husband Jeremy and their children Noah and Liam; her nephew Jonathan Garcia, his wife Lisa and his son Oliver; her nephew RJ; her nephew John Forrest Gaylor and his wife Chyanne; and her nephew Jacob Bulling.  Verna is preceded in death by her parents Ramon and Vera Garcia and her brother Anthony Garcia.Services for Verna will be held on Tuesday, January 22nd at Gabaldon Memorial Chapel at 2 pm.
