Vina Padilla

Vina Padilla (DeSoto) age 82, born in Cubero, New Mexico and resident of Moquino, New Mexico, passed away Sunday, May 12, 2019.  Mrs. Padilla is survived by her children, Herman Francis Padilla and wife, Yvonne, Leane Padilla Hocker and husband, William, Cecilio Raul Padilla and wife, Janice; grandchildren, Tanya Munson and husband, Matt, Tricia Padilla and husband, John Beauregard, Adrian Padilla, Arthur Moore and wife, Cassandra, Chris Moore and wife, Juanita, and Felisha and Melissa Padilla; great-grandchildren, Sabrina Carr, Andi Valverde (Josh), Alexander Perea, Alejandra Lozoya, Destiny Anne, Christopher and Dean Moore, Devin, Alexia, Emma, and Kiera Munsun; and one great-great-granchild, Anexys Zander Young; siblings, Fernando DeSoto, Joseph DeSoto and Elizabeth DeSoto.  Mrs. Padilla was preceded in death by her parents, Cecilio and Dulcinea DeSoto; her beloved husband, Herman Fidel Padilla; son, Joseph Padilla; sisters, Emily Holguin and Domitilia Espenel.

A visitation will be Sunday, May 19, 2019 from 3:30 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Seboyeta, New Mexico with a Rosary to be recited at 4:00 p.m.  A final visitation will be Monday, May 20, 2019 from 10:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Seboyeta, New Mexico with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11:00 a.m.  Interment will follow services at Moquino Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Arthur Moore, Chris Moore, Adrian Padilla, Matthew Munson, John Beauregard and Mark Vallejos.  Honorary Pallbearers will be Chris Moore Jr., Devin Munson, Dean Moore, Josh Valverde, Leon Tafoya, Phillip Vallejos, Scott Schafer, Dawnte Vallejos and Daryius Vallejos.
