Viola A. Lucero, age 80, born in Coyote, NM and a resident of Albuquerque, passed away Monday, February 01, 2016. Mrs. Lucero is survived by her husband of sixty-one years, Ross; children, Richard Lucero and wife, Jennie, Joe David Lucero and wife, Josie, Liz Benavidez, Sandra Hildebrand and husband, David, and Ross Lucero Jr.; fourteen grandchildren; twenty-three great-grandchildren; brothers, Manuel Jaramillo  and wife, Mary, and Joe Jaramillo and wife, Clemencia; sister, Dulcelina Herrera and husband, Joe;  and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.  Visitation will be Thursday, February 04, 2016 at Holy Family Catholic Church, 562 Atrisco SW from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m.  Final visitation will be Friday, February 05, 2016 at the Church from 8:30 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 9:00 a.m.   Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Ernest Benavidez, Josh Lovato, Josiah Lucero, Jon Iraids, Patrick Sanchez, and Geraldine Gonzalez.
