Viola M. Romero, age 88, born in Westwood, CA and resident of Albuquerque, passed away Thursday, October 13, 2016. Viola is survived by her daughter, Marie L. Harrison and husband, Patrick; sister, Carmen McCleery; brothers, Audie Miranda Sr. and wife, Clara and Jujito Miranda; four grandchildren, Mariah and husband, Louie, Roman, Cody and wife, Kalie and Joe Neal; eleven great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Jeanette Alvarez; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  Viola was preceded in death by her husband, Roman Romero.  Visitation will be Tuesday, October 18, 2016, from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel, 1000 Old Coors Dr. SW, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m.  Final visitation will be Wednesday, October 19, 2016 from 8:30 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. at St. Anne Catholic Church, 1400 Arenal Rd. SW with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 9:00 a.m.  Interment will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Dennis Miranda, Gary Miranda, Audie Miranda Jr., Patrick Harrison, Roman Barham, Cody Harrison. Honorary pallbearer will be Stetson Lueras.
