William (Bill) A. Candelaria, age 75, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away Sunday, August 16, 2015, at home with his family at his side. Bill is survived by wife, Maria; children, Billy Candelaria and partner, Guilford Robinson, Clorinda Guzman and husband, Eli; grandchildren, Mercedes Velasquez, Anastasia Ortiz, and Felipe Ortiz; great grandchildren, Rayleigh Thompson and Brayden Haynes; brothers, Father Ernest Candelaria, and Enrique Candelaria and wife, Patty. Bill was preceded in death by his son, Adam Candelaria. Bill was a teacher for the Albuquerque Public Schools for over 30 years. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 19, 2015, from 9:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at Church of the Ascension Catholic Church, 2150 Raymac Rd. SW with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a donation in honor of William A.
