Margarito Lopez

Margarito Medrano Lopez, age 76, born in Silver City, New Mexico and a resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico. Margarito passed away February 27, 2022. Mr. Lopez is survived by his wife of Fifty-Five years Veneranda Lopez; sibling’s, Fernando Lopez and wife Nena, Joe Lopez and wife Ida, Fermin Lopez, Bea Baca and husband Larry, Alicia Esparza, Sally Lopez and husband Catarino; brothers and sisters in-laws, Ernest Bernal and wife Eva, Leonard Bernal and wife Rebecca, Bernice Trujillo and husband Delbert, Ernestine Martinez and husband Gilbert; along with many nieces, nephews, and extended family. Mr. Lopez served his country proudly as an Army Veteran. Mr. Lopez is preceded in death by his parents Jose and Guadalupe Lopez; sisters, Rosie Lopez and Dora Lopez; brothers, Francisco Lopez and Ernest Lopez. A Public Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 9, 2022 at 11:00am with a Rosary to be recited at 11:30am and a Mass to follow at 12:00pm all to be held at San Jose Parish located at 2401 Broadway Blvd SE, Albuquerque, NM 87102. A Burial will follow Mass to Mount Calvary Cemetery. Family would like to invite the people who attended the services to a Reception at the Moose Lodge located at 2121 Edith Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87102 at 2:15pm.  Pallbearers will be Chris Bernal, David Lopez, Leonard J. Bernal Jr., Joseph Bernal, Brian Abeyta, and Elijah Bernal Lucero. Honorary Pallbearers will be Daniel Bernal, Gabriel Bernal, Levi Jr. Bernal, Adam Abeyta.
