Mel Sedillo Jr.

Mel Sedillo Jr. age 85, born in Belen, New Mexico and a resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away on September 14, 2021. Mr. Sedillo is survived by his wife of twenty-nine years, Vincine “Sam” Domme Sedillo; children, Donna Powell and husband, Rick, Kevin Barton and wife, Jennie, Janet Jankowski, and Jodie Hunt; seven grandchildren; siblings, Marie Sedillo and Paul Sedillo; many nieces, nephews, and extended family member. Mel is preceded in death by his mother Jenny Day and sister, Frances Ray. Visitation will be held at 6:00 p.m. at Church of the Ascension on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, September 23, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Church of the Ascension with burial to follow at Pajarito Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Rick Powell, Rick Vernon, Gene Ray, Justin Ray, Matt Ray, Keith Peer, Trever Powell and Jason Chipman
