Rev Anzie Thomas

Rev Anzie Ivon Thomas of Albuquerque, NM was called home to heaven January 9, 2022.  She was born April 11, 1936, in Stratford, OK to Earnest and Anzie Wooten.  Anzie Ivon Thomas was preceded in death by her parents, nine brothers and two sisters, one daughter and two sons.  Anzie is survived by her husband of 70 years, Rev John Thomas, Jr. of Albuquerque, son Dennis (Denice) Thomas of Stinnett, TX, daughter Delores Black of Atlanta, GA, daughter Renee (Gidon) Shmuel of Haifa, Israel, additional daughter Caroline (Tye) Hardison of Albuquerque, twenty-one grandchildren, Bubba and Townly Thomas, Denean and CW Massengale, Dennae and Charles Gray, Lora and Jason Dodson, Shana and Ryan Evans, James Thomas, Mitchell and Jenny Thomas, Talena Thomas, Trevor Thomas, Victoria and Edwin Smith, Courtney Black, Avichai and Nofar Shmuel and Shanee Shmuel, twenty great grandchildren, numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends.  A Celebration of Life will be held at 1pm on Saturday, January 15th at Crossroads of Albuquerque Church, 5200 Marble Ave, NE, 87110. A Visitation will take place February 4, 2022 at 12:30pm at Sunset Chapel with a Burial to follow at Sunset Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be submitted to Westside Christian Fellowship, Albuquerque and/or Crossroads Albuquerque Church.
